Primetime, Ireland's leading investigative TV show, did an article about the demise of the construction industry here.
They said that next Friday, 12th July, traditionally the start of the builders holiday, will see 10.000 of them laid off and have dubbed it "Black Friday"
I've added a 44 second clip from the show, featuring Willy, a plasterer who first tells us why he can't compete any longer, then explains why he won't go on the Dole, then tells us what he intends to do....................ONE GUESS!

Willy The Plasterer
Maybe Willy will be the straw that breaks the camels back?
Certainly one of the 10,000 will, there is a lot of tension out there and unless something is done soon, the government and the regulator may have one hell of a storm on their hands.
